Heat Transfer Oil:

Heat transfer oil has been used for a long time, so the heat transfer capacity will not be satisfactory according to the design of the system, which will waste time in combustion, fuel combustion and problems related to the heat transfer system.

 

Heat Transfer Oil Change Procedure.

1. Oil Removal Procedure:

– After cleaning, reduce the system temperature to

Use compressed air to remove the oil so that no old oil is inside.

 

2. Oil shoveling process:

– After draining the oil, flush the system with cleaning oil to ensure there is no residue left in the tank and pipeline.

– Start the oil pump for circulation in the system but do not burn the furnace for the oil to circulate for a period of time sufficient to clean the pipeline. The oil should be allowed to pass through the filter.

– After cleaning the system, remove the cleaning oil. Drain the oil with compressed air.

– Check the entire safety control system to make sure all equipment is working completely and in sync.

 

3. Oil Filling Process.

– Check the power cables to ensure safety.

– Check the vents, open all vent valves for the purpose of venting the air when refilling oil.

– Loading oil into the tank or pipeline: Load new oil with the oil pump system at the lowest point to avoid the ingress of air into the system.

– Pour oil to the lowest allowable limit of the expansion tank.

– Let the oil circulate for many hours, check the oil level, if less than the lowest, add more oil until the lowest level of the expansion tank is reached.

– Check the pump system, make sure the pump measures pressure, the pressure of the manometer as instructed, if it is stable, then operate the system.

 

4. Test Operation:

– During the first test run when starting to heat the oil, the supply temperature was only 100oC. When this temperature is reached, stop heating the furnace, continue to release the gas at the exhaust valves, if you can ensure that the gas is no longer in the system, then close the exhaust valve.

– The ventilation system in the expansion tank must be opened from now on because when the temperature rises to 100oC, the water begins to evaporate.

– Proceed to continue the deflation process when the pump measures the pressure and the pressure of the manometer is not stable.
